Charleston RiverDogs News Release
Firefly Vodka is looking for ladies who are fans of the Palmetto State, the outdoors and, of course, someone who loves to be the life of the party. What better place to find someone who fits this description than at a fun-filled Charleston RiverDogs' ballgame?!
Female fans of RiverDogs baseball and Firefly Vodka are invited to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park for the RiverDogs' Thursday, June 3 game against the Hickory Crawdads to give it their all as they get the chance to be a Firefly Home TEAm Girl.
To enter the contest, females must be at least 21 years of age, bring a picture of themselves to the game on Thursday, June 3 and be available for appearances on July 4 and Aug. 25. The lovely ladies of the Lowcountry are encouraged to swing for the fences at their shot to win more than $1,000 in cash and prizes and possibly be named a Firefly Home TEAm Girl.
"This type of fan interaction and involvement goes hand-in-hand with everything we do here at Riley Park." said RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols. "We're thrilled to be partnering with such a great Southern success story as Firefly."
The lucky lady who is chosen will have her name announced at the RiverDogs' Independence Day game on July 4, during the World's Largest Sweet Tea Party, and deliver the attendance via a Mini of Charleston vehicle as the new Firefly Home TEAm Girl.
To be eligible for the contest, hopefuls must purchase a ticket for the RiverDogs' June 3 game versus the Hickory Crawdads. A portion of the money raised from the RiverDogs' Launch a Ball promotion each Firefly night will go towards the Windwood Farm Home for Boys.
The RiverDogs begin a four-game series against Hickory on Tuesday, June 1 at 7:05 p.m. For more information on tickets visit www.riverdogs.com or call the box office at (843) 577-DOGS (3647).
