Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release
KANNAPOLIS, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators, the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, along with Time Warner Cable, one of the nation's leading cable television, Internet and phone providers, want to honor your favorite charity or civic group at a game during the 2010 season. The Intimidators will be hosting a contest on their website www.IntimidatorsBaseball.com beginning on June 1st which will run until June 20th. To nominate a charitable organization or civic group, simply go to www.IntimidatorsBaseball.com and click on the special contest link located on the front page of the website. There, fans will be asked to submit a written explanation, 150 words or less, as to why that organization or group deserves to be recognized at an Intimidators game in 2010. All submissions should be emailed to jellis@intimidatorsbaseball.com.
The Intimidators will select a winner from the submissions and honor that group as a special guest at a game at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium during the 2010 season. The winning group will receive 100 free tickets to the game, food vouchers for all participants, a pre-game ceremony on the field, public address announcements throughout the game, a ceremonial first pitch and the opportunity to set up a display at that evening's game. The winning organization will also have their logo and website link posted on the Intimidators website for the remainder of the season.
This is a great opportunity for any charitable organization or civic group to gain exposure, distribute materials or treat deserving volunteers to a special night out. If you have any questions, please contact the Intimidators at 704-932-3267 for more information.
The Intimidators are enjoying their 16th season of play as an organization. This organization has produced such talents as Jimmy Rollins, Gordon Beckham and NFL star Ricky Williams.
