Fireflies Add Fireworks to Sunday, June 30 Game in Partnership with NewSpring Church

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia Fireflies announced today a partnership with NewSpring Church which adds postgame fireworks to Sunday's game against Hickory on June 30.
"We are excited to add an additional firework show to our promotional schedule," said Fireflies executive vice president Brad Shank. "This is great timing as we begin a week of Independence Day celebrations. NewSpring Church has been a great partner of the Fireflies and having them on board for this wonderful celebration will be a great community event."
Game time on Sunday, June 30 is still slated for 5:05pm and the fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:15pm. Gates on Sunday will open at 4:00pm and it will be at Future Scholar 529 Splash Sunday.
"We're excited about celebrating the 4th with our church and community," said NewSpring senior communications director Suzanne Swift. "We love connecting people to Jesus and each other. And what better way to bring people together in the summer than baseball and fireworks?"
