
Fifth Annual Craft Brewers Festival, Saturday at "The Joe"

TROY, NY July 9 - The Tri-City ValleyCats and Brown's Brewing Company will host the fifth annual Capital Region Craft Brewers Festival on Saturday, July 12 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
The festival is a celebration of the art of craft brewing with some of the finest breweries from the Northeast region and beyond set to participate. Each event ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass and opportunities to sample craft brewed ales and lagers throughout the afternoon. Several different ticket options are available to include merchandise, meal vouchers or a VIP catered buffet.
In addition to sampling great beer and food, there will be live music by Diva and the Dirty Boys. The Craft Brewers Festival will be a rain or shine event, with over 1,000 people expected to attend.
Tickets are available now and can be purchased at the ValleyCats box office or by phone, as well as at Brown's Brewing Company or on the ValleyCats website. While attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the advance-purchase prices, tickets will also be sold at the gate on the day of the festival.
The inaugural event in 2010 included 15 breweries but has grown and will feature around 30 in 2014. The lineup for participating breweries is below, and updates or changes to the list will be posted on the event's website at capitalbrewfest.com.
