
CT Tigers Homestand Preview July 11-14

NORWICH, CT- The Connecticut Tigers will be home at Dodd Stadium July 11th through 14th with fun and excitement for the whole family. The Tigers take on the Auburn Doubledays (Nationals affiliate) Friday, July 11th at 7:05 pm before welcoming the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets affiliate) for three games Saturday, July 12th through Monday, July 14th.
On Friday the Tigers and Doubledays finish up their three game series at 7:05 pm. There will be a pre-game blood drive presented by the American Red Cross. For more information or to schedule an appointment fans can visit redcrossblood.org.
Following the game will be Friday Night Fireworks presented by US Foods.
The Tigers welcome the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets affiliate) to town on Saturday for a 7:05 pm matchup. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a CT Tigers piggy bank presented by the CT Department of Transportation. Gates open at 6 pm and giveaways are based on availability at the gate so fans are encouraged to arrive early. Saturday is also Boy Scout Sleepover Night. Boy Scout and Cub Scout groups will sleep out on the field under the stars at Dodd Stadium.
Pre-registration is required through the Tigers group sales department.
On Sunday the first 750 fans through the gates will receive Set 1 of the Dodd Stadium 20 Seasons Baseball Card Series courtesy of Savings Institute Bank & Trust.
Set 1 features Mike Lowell, Madison Bumgarner, Mike Cervenak, and Andy Pettitte! Gates open at 3 pm and gametime is 4:05 pm. Following the game all kids will be allowed on the field for Kids Run The Bases presented by Ben & Jerry's and Have A Catch presented by Falvey's and ROXY FM 100.9.
The homestand wraps up on Monday, July 14th as the Tigers and Cyclones square off at 7:05 pm. Mondays are Kids Eat Free nights at Dodd Stadium presented by US Foods and The Day. All children 12 & under will receive a voucher redeemable for a hot dog, bag of chips, bottle of water, and an apple. Mondays are also Social Media Mondays presented by XtraMart. Fans are encouraged to check the Tigers' Facebook and Twitter pages on Monday for an exclusive discount offer.
The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game schedule that runs from mid June through early September. 2014 season tickets, mini plans, individual game tickets, and team merchandise are now on sale!
