
FC Dallas Hosts OKC Energy FC in Fourth Round of 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup

Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas hosts OKC Energy FC in the Fourth Round of the annual Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Champions on June 12 at Southern Methodist University's Westcott Field. The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
FC Dallas is one of 21 Major League Soccer clubs to join the 11 Third Round winners in the fourth round of the 106th edition of the tournament.
FC Dallas are 2-0-0 against OKC Energy FC in U.S. Open Cup history. Dallas defeated OKC Energy FC, 4-1, during the 2015 U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round at Texas Christian University Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium and won 6-5 in penalty kicks at Westcott Field during the 2016 edition of the tournament.
FC Dallas won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 1997 and 2016 and was the runner-up in 2005 and 2007. In 2018, FC Dallas defeated San Antonio FC, 1-0 on June 6 in the Fourth Round but was eliminated by Sporting Kansas City in the Round of 16. FC Dallas has a 34-20-6 record all-time in the U.S. Open Cup and a 20-6-3 record all-time in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.
Tickets for the Fourth Round match against OKC Energy FC will be general admission and can be purchased here for $10.
The winner of the 2019 tournament will receive $300,000, a 2020 Concacaf Champions League berth, and will have its team name engraved on the Dewar Challenge Trophy displayed at the National Soccer Hall of Fame, the oldest nationally-contested trophy in American sports.
