
Three Toronto FC Players Called to Canadian National Team CONCACAF Gold Cup Squad

Toronto FC midfielders Jonathan Osorio, Noble Okello and defender Ashtone Morgan have been named to Canadian Men's National Team coach John Herdman's 23-man roster for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup. Canada is in Group A with Martinique, Mexico and Cuba and will play all three-group stage matches in the United States. Canada will open with Martinique on June 15 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Canada will then face Mexico on June 19 at Broncos Stadium at Mile High in Denver, Colorado and conclude the group stage on June 23 against Cuba at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Osorio has earned 23 caps and has scored three goals and three assists for the Canadian National Team. His most recent cap came on March 24 in a 4-1 win over French Guiana in a Concacaf Nations League qualifying match. This season for Toronto FC, Osorio has made 14 combined appearances (MLS and Concacaf Champions League) with three goals and four assists.
Morgan has earned 14 caps and has one assist for the Canadian National Team. His most recent cap came on March 24, 2018 in a 1-0 friendly win over New Zealand. Morgan has made five combined appearances (MLS and Concacaf Champions League) this season for Toronto FC.
Okello has yet to earn his first senior cap with the Canadian National Team. He has represented Canada at various youth levels and tournaments including the 2017 Concacaf Men's U-17 Championship and the 2018 Concacaf Men's U-20 Championship. This season, Okello has made seven appearances for Toronto FC II in USL League One.
