Fans Flock to Beef 'O' Brady's for First Tip-A-Pilot

February 26, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL) - Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release

PENSACOLA, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots held their first annual Tip-A-Pilot last Thursday evening at Beef 'O' Brady's on West Nine Mile Road. In a span of just two hours, players collected $840 in tips which will benefit the Favor House, a local non-profit organization for abused women and children.

"It was a huge success and I think everyone had a great time," stated Ice Pilots President Greg Schuh. "The food and atmosphere were simply terrific. The players did a great job and the staff at Beef O'Brady's assisted the Ice Pilots tremendously. We look forward to doing it again next fall."

The entire Ice Pilots team dressed as waiters for the evening as fans had the opportunity to be served by their favorite players.

Don't miss the hard hitting, exciting action, as the Ice Pilots' next home game is Friday, February 29 at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Florida Everblades at the Civic Center. It is Faith Night as the band JourneySong will be performing. Group Tickets and Military Packages are still available through the Ice Pilots office. For more information, or to reserve your seats, call (850) 432-PUCK, or visit the Ice Pilots web site at www.icepilots.com.
