Stockton's Beeman Suspended One Game, Fined

February 26, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release


PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Stockton forward Jason Beeman for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #671 at Stockton on Feb. 25.

Beeman was assessed a major penalty and a match penalty for fighting at 18:46 of the third period.

Beeman is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Beeman will miss Stockton's game against Cincinnati (Feb. 28).
