South Carolina Stingrays News Release
The Stingrays rallied from a 3-0 deficit to edge the Florida Everblades 4-3 in a shootout Sunday night at the North Charleston Coliseum, clinching a spot in the 2008 ECHL playoffs. Steve Pinizzotto pocketed two goals, while Grant McNeill scored just his third marker of the season to tie the game 3-3. Rory Rawlyk and Pierre-Luc O'Brien would pot shootout goals, with Davis Parley stopping four of five shooters to claim the victory. Augusta, meanwhile, dropped a 3-1 decision Sunday evening in Gwinnett.
