LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - The Fresno Falcons turned the tables on the Las Vegas Wranglers on Tuesday night to beat the Wranglers 1-0 in a tough defensive battle. The Falcons improve to 13-6-1 on the season and retain their first place Pacific Division ranking.
Teams were scoreless until 8:49 of the third period when Fresno's Jarrett Konkle found the back of the net on the power play off assists from Adam Hobson and Igor Gongalsky. The Falcons dominated the game peppering the Las Vegas goaltender with 42 shots but only needed the one goal to record the win. Fresno rookie goaltender Michael Ouzas recorded his second shutout of the season stopping all 17 Wrangler shots.
The Falcons return home to host the Victoria Salmon Kings on Friday, December 5 and Saturday December 6 at Selland Arena, both games starting at 7:35 p.m. The Falcons then play host to the Stockton Thunder on Sunday December 7, game start at 5:05 p.m.
