
Falcons announce Kelly Cup playoff roster

Brad Both Among 24 Players Included
FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno Falcons head coach and general manager Matt Thomas submitted his team's playoff roster to the ECHL league office today. Twelve forwards, nine defensemen, and three goaltenders are eligible to play for the regular season Pacific Division Champions during the 2006 Kelly Cup Playoffs, their first post-season appearance since joining the ECHL in 2003-04.
Included on the list of 24 players is left winger Brad Both, whose team suspension that went into effect on Jan. 3 due to a family situation has been lifted. Both is expected to be in the line-up tomorrow night when the Falcons open their best-of-seven, first round series against the San Diego Gulls at Save Mart Center.

The first of what the Falcons hope will be four best-of-seven rounds on the way to the Kelly Cup Championship begins tomorrow with Game One at 7:30 p.m. at Save Mart Center against the Gulls. The first 3,000 fans will receive a free Falcons Rally Towel courtesy of KMJ Radio. Fans are encouraged to bring "BEAT THE GULLS!!" signs to the game.
Game Two is on Wednesday, Apr. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Save Mart Center before the series shifts to San Diego's ipayOne Center on Apr. 14 and 15 for Games Three and Four.
