South Division Quarterfinals (Best-of-Three)

No. 4 South Carolina Stingrays (32-25-15) at No. 5 Charlotte Checkers (33-34-5) 7:05 p.m. ET

South Carolina Leads Series (1-0)
* South Carolina's Anders Strome had two goals in 6-3 win on Monday.
* Nathan Gillies had two goals and three points for Checkers in 6-3 loss at South Carolina on Monday.
* Six goals are the most playoff goals scored by the Stingrays since winning 7-1 at Pee Dee on Apr. 4, 2003.
* Checkers scored two of their three goals on the power play and are 40 percent with the man advantage.
* Stingrays outscored Charlotte 2-0 in the second period and 3-1 in the third period on Monday.
* Charlotte is 5-0-0 and outscored South Carolina 25-12 at home during the regular season.

* Grrrowl is 4-1-0 and has averaged five goals per game at Augusta in 2005-06.
* Augusta's Nicolas Corbeil has five points (1g-4a) in three home games against the Grrrowl in 2005-06.
* Grrrowl's Colin Pepperall scored a hat trick in the last meeting at Augusta, a 5-3 win on Mar. 21.

* Adam Henrich scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Chiefs won 2-1 on Monday.

* Johnstown's win on Monday was first playoff victory since 4-0 win at Peoria on Apr. 9, 2002.
* Trenton's Jim Henkel has five points (1g-4a) in his last three games at home against the Chiefs.

* Grizzlies are 6-7-2 following a loss in which they have been outscored by three goals or more in 2005-06.
* Kimbi Daniels (1g-1a) and Matt Shasby (0g-2a) each had two points for the Aces on Monday.
* Utah is 0-6-0 and is averaging one goal per game in six games at Alaska in the regular season and playoffs.
