South Division Quarterfinals (Best-of-Three)
No. 4 South Carolina Stingrays (32-25-15) at No. 5 Charlotte Checkers

South Carolina Leads Series (1-0)
* South Carolina's Anders Strome had two goals in 6-3 win on Monday.
* Nathan Gillies had two goals and three points for Checkers in 6-3 loss at
South Carolina on Monday.
* Six goals are the most playoff goals scored by the Stingrays since
winning 7-1 at Pee Dee on Apr. 4, 2003.
* Checkers scored two of their three goals on the power play and are 40
percent with the man advantage.
* Stingrays outscored Charlotte 2-0 in the second period and 3-1 in the
third period on Monday.
* Charlotte is 5-0-0 and outscored South Carolina 25-12 at home during the
regular season.
