Sound Tigers assign Lee to Titans

TRENTON, NJ (April 1, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced on Tuesday that forward Mark Lee has been assigned by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Lee, 21, picked up his first AHL goal on Sunday in Bridgeport's 5-2 loss to the Portland Priates. The second-year pro out of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland returns from his fourth call-up to the Sound Tigers this season having appeared in 25 games.

Lee has totaled six goals, 19 assists and 30 penalty minutes in 36 games with Trenton and will be in the line-up tonight for Game 2 of the North Division Quarterfinal against the Johnstown Chiefs. The Titans trail the best-of-three series 1-0.

During his rookie season last year, Lee posted 20 goals, 47 assists, 67 points and 65 penalty minutes in 78 games with the Kansas City Outlaws of the United Hockey League (UHL).
