Grand Prairie, TX-----The Explorers exploded for 17 hits in a 10-4 win here Thursday over Grand Prairie. Brian Bistange and Youske Inoguchi led the charge with two two-run home runs, both coming in the fifth inning off former Explorers pitcher Alain Quijano, who took the loss. The Explorers had 12 of their 17 hits off Quijano who was making his first start for Grand Prairie after being sold to the AirHogs on Tuesday. Jorge Delgado had four hits for the Explorers while Adrian Martinez had three hits, including two doubles and three RBI's. Inoguchi had three hits and so did Brandon Newton as the Explorers defeated Grand Prairie for the first time this season in six games. Jason Jarvis pitched seven strong innings to pick up the victory. In a game that saw a total of 30 hits, not one walk was issued by either team. The Explorers will now begin a three-game series at El Paso Friday with game time 8:05 at Cohen Stadium. Aaron Correa will get his first professional start for Sioux City.
