Kansas City 11, Worcester 4

After falling behind 2-1 after four innings, the Kansas City T-Bones scored four runs in each of the next two innings to take a 9-2 lead and would cruise from there to a 11-4 win over the Worcester Tornadoes. Third baseman Enrique Cruz led the Kansas City offense going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a RBI. Five other T-Bones players collected two hits apiece, including DH Lee Cruz who hit his sixth home run of the season and drove in two runs. Kansas City starting pitcher Brian Grening was the winner as he went eight innings allowing four earned runs on 11 hits. The victory by Grening was his eighth of the season.

Fargo-Moorhead 5, St. Paul 3

St. Paul took an early 1-0 lead after an inning and a half but it was all Fargo-Moorhead after that as the RedHawks scored all five of their runs over the next four innings and would go on to win 5-3 over the Saints. Fargo-Moorhead RF Buddy Sosnoskie and 2B Carlo Cota each had two hits to lead the offense. RedHawks DH Ryan Delgado launched his 14th home run of the season and scored two runs. Fargo-Moorhead starting pitcher Tyler Herron won his eighth game of the season. Herron allowed three earned runs on five hits in seven innings pitched.

Sioux City 10, Grand Prairie 4

Center fielder Yusuke Inoguchi and C Adrian Martinez led a solid Sioux City offensive attack as the Explorers beat the Grand Prairie AirHogs, 10-4. Inoguchi and Martinez went a combined 6-for-8 at the plate with a home run, four runs scored and six RBI. Sioux City 1B Jorge Delgado chipped in with four hits along with a run scored and a RBI. Explorers starter Jason Jarvis was the winning pitcher as he gave up three earned runs on nine hits in seven innings pitched. For Grand Prairie in the loss, C Chris McMurray had three hits.

Winnipeg 7, Wichita 1

The top of the order for Winnipeg led the way as the Goldeyes defeated the Wichita Wingnuts, 7-1. Shortstop Price Kendall, CF Chris Roberson and 2B Yurendell de Caster went a combined 7-for-13 at the plate with three RBI and five runs scored. De Caster hit his 8th home run of the season for Winnipeg. Goldeyes starting pitcher Zach Baldwin tossed 5 2/3 strong innings en route to his second win of the season. Baldwin gave up an earned run on five hits with four strikeouts. Winnipeg reliever Brian Beuning pitched the final three innings to collect his second save of the season.

Gary SouthShore 12, Amarillo 2

Gary SouthShore scored nine runs over their final two at-bats to roll past the Amarillo Sox, 12-2. Catcher Ryan Babineau had a monster game at the plate for the RailCats as he went 3-for-5 with a triple, three runs scored and five RBI. Gary SouthShore CF Mike Massaro and LF Eric Suttle collected two hits apiece with Massaro scoring two runs and Suttle driving in three. RailCats starting pitcher Stephen Hiscock was tremendous as he pitched a complete game allowing two runs, both earned, on four hits with five strikeouts. Hiscock picked up his fourth win of the season.

Laredo 8, El Paso 1

The Laredo Lemurs scored five runs over the final three innings to pull away from the El Paso Diablos and win, 8-1. Laredo RF Stephen Pearson had a good night at the plate going 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI. Lemurs SS Jimmy Mojica also had two hits on the night while LF Palmer Karr, Jr. added his 10th home run of the season. Laredo starting pitcher Osvaldo Rodriguez notched his third win of the season as he gave up an earned run on four hits in six innings pitched. For El Paso in defeat, CF Mitch Einertson and 1B Fernando Valenzuela each had two hits.
