ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades wrapped up this past week's action with a 1-2-0 record in three games against the Greenville Road Warriors. Overall, the Everblades enter this week's action with a record of 16-11-0 (32 pts., 2nd South Division.)

THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Wednesday. December 15 at Greenville Road Warriors 7:05 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades take to the road for the first of a three game road trip to the Palmetto State. They'll head to Greenville to start the trip off on Wednesday night. It'll be the fourth straight between the top two South Division teams and the ninth of 15 between the two. The game will be the sixth played between the clubs at the BI-LO Center where the Everblades are 1-4-0. Overall this season the Everblades are 2-6-0 vs. the Road Warriors. Entering this week's action the Road Warriors boast the league's best record at 18-5-2 (38 pts., 1st South Division) and are 11-1-1 in their last 13 games.

Friday & Sunday, December 17 & 19 at South Carolina Stingrays Fri.: 7:05 p.m., Sun.: 4:05 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades head to Charleston, SC to take on the Stingrays for a pair of games this weekend. The games are the fourth and fifth of 13 between the South Division Rivals. Coming into this weekend, the Everblades are 2-1-0 vs. South Carolina this season after winning two of three in South Carolina at the beginning of November. The Everblades hold a record of 57-35-13 all-time vs. South Carolina and are 30-15-6 all-time on the road vs. the Stingrays. Entering this week's action the Stingrays have a record of 11-13-1 (23 pts., 4th South Division) and are 6-5-1 on home ice.

Wednesday, December 8 vs. Greeenville Road Warriors 3-2 Shootout Win

The Everblades pushed their winning streak to seven games with a hard-fought 3-2 shootout victory over the Road Warriros. Matthew Pistilli & Jared Staal each scored in the second period for the Blades, but a late third period goal by Greenville tied the score at two and sent the contest to overtime. After neither team scored in the overtime period, the Everblades out-scored the Road Warriors 3-2 in the five-round shootout on goals by Mitch Fadden, Francis Lemieux and Matthew Pistilli. In goal, Bobby Goepfert earned his fourth straight win by stopping 27 of 29 shots in regulation and overtime and three of five in the shootout. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-of-3; PK: 4-of-4.

Friday, December 10 vs. Greenville Road Warriors 2-1 Loss

The Everblades saw their win streak snapped on Friday night after Greenville picked up a 2-1 victory. The Everblades opened the game's scoring in the first period on Mitch Fadden's 10th goal of the season., but Greenville tallied the next two goals, both in the second period en-route to the win. In goal Bobby Goepfert's personal win streak also came to an end after allowing the two goals on 29 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-of-5; PK: 4-of-4.

Saturday, December 11 vs. Greenville Road Warriors 5-2 Loss

The Everblades suffered their second straight loss to the Road Warriors on Saturday night. The teams traded first period goals with David Fischer tallying Florida's marker midway through the frame to tie the score at one. After the Road Warriors jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the second period, Alex Imbeault cut the lead to one with a power play goal midway through the second period, but Greenville didn't allow the Everblades any closer and salted the game away with a pair of third period goals including an empty-net tally in the final minute. In net Jaroslav Janus saw his three-game win streak stopped after allowing four goals on 29 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-of-5; PK: 5-of-8.

Special Teams Breakdown: Entering this week, here's a look at the Everblades power play and penalty killing: On the power play the Everblades rank 5th in the ECHL at 22.1 % (30-of-136)...at home the Blades are ranked 4th in the league at 22.6 % (14-of-62)...on the road the Everblades rank 5th at 21.6 % (16-of-74). On the penalty kill the Everblades find themselves 2nd in the ECHL at 87.6 % (106-of-115)...at home the Everblades enter the week ranked 3rd at 88.9 % (56-of-63)...on the road the Blades are currently 6th at 86.2 % (50-of-58).

League Leaders: Coming into this week the Everblades still boast three of the league's top five scorers, although two are currently on call-up to the AHL. Mitch Fadden continues to pace the league with his 39 points...Although he's called up to Charlotte right now Matthew Pistilli is fourth in the ECHL in scoring and is tied for second in the league with 14 along with Alex Imbeault... Francis Lemieux who is currently called up to Manitoba is third in the ECHL in scoring with 31 points and is fourth in the ECHL in assists with 21...Fadden also leads the ECHL in assists with his 29...Imbeault is also currently leading the league with eight power play goals and Fadden is tops in the ECHL in power play points with 18...Goaltending wise, Bobby Goepfert ranks 10th in the ECHL in goals against average with a 2.59 mark and is also tied for second in the league with his nine wins, while also ranking 6th in the league with 462 saves.

Approaching Milestones: Here's a look at Everblades that are approaching milestones in the careers: D Ethan Graham is just three games shy of skating in his 200th career game...F Mathieu Roy is 14 points away from recording 100 points as a member of the Everblades...F Alex Imbeault finds himself 15 points shy of 200 in his career...D Mike Egener is seven games shy of playing in his 300th career game...F Ross Carlson's next game will be his 200th career game.

Who's Hot: Several Everblades are currently riding hot streaks. Here's a look at who's done what lately: F Mitch Fadden has picked up points in nine of the last ten games (2g, 15a) ...F Mike McKenzie has notched a point now in eight straight games (7g, 4a)...goaltender Bobby Goepfert has won four or his last five games and has posted a 1.57 GAA in that stretch.
