The Nailers Conquered the Gladiators this past weekend, outscoring Gwinnett 15-5 in two games at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown. On Friday, Wheeling used four point performances from Ben Street (2g, 2a), and Nick Petersen (4 assists) to defeat Gwinnett 7-2.
The Nailers continued the offensive assault on Saturday, as Ryan Schnell scored his first and second goals of the season to help lead his team to an 8-3 victory. Goaltender Mattais Modig earned his second win of the season making 32 saves. Both of Modig's victories have come inside the War Memorial.

We're Going Streaking! In addition to the Nailers four game win streak, several players have posted solid individual performances. Ben Street, who is ranked third in the league with 107 shots on goal, is riding a four game points scoring streak in which he has a amassed 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) during that stretch. Forward Alexander Smigelski is currently riding a four game point streak as well, registering five points (4 goals, 1 assist).
Upcoming Events and Promotions
Coaches Show: The Nailers coaches show will take place every Monday from 7-8 p.m. at Generations Pub & Grill in Wheeling. This year's show is called "Nailers Unmasked" and will allow the fans to get to know their favorite Nailers players, coaches, and staff. There will be drink and food specials, and the show is the perfect lead in for Monday Night Football!
Sunday vs. Reading, 7:35 p.m.: Post game skate with the Nailers, Paddington Bear will be on hand to meet and greet with children, Bring a non-winning West Virginia Lottery Ticket, and receive $2 off admission.
