Everblades Announce Details Of Pink In The Rink Weekend

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced today at a press conference the details of the upcoming Pink in the Rink Weekend, presented by Radiology Regional Center which will take place on Friday March 2 and Saturday, March 3 when the Everblades play host to the Kalamazoo Wings.
In addition, the Blades unveiled the special Pink in the Rink jerseys which will be worn by the team on Friday and Saturday. The jerseys (picture attached) include the Everblades blue color along with a pink splash, with a white ribbon for cancer awareness. The Everblades logo has also been modified to a pink color. The jerseys will be auctioned off following Saturday's game with the proceeds going to selected cancer charities.
To kickoff the weekend, the blades will be hosting an event in called Hockey N' Heels, which is a ladies only event and offers a Hockey 101 taught by, where women will be taught the basics of the game by Everblades coaches and players. Hockey N' Heels will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the Big Cypress Club at Germain Arena. The event is available in one of the following packages:
* Ladies Night Out Package Includes: Light Hors D'oeuvres, and bottle of bubbly from Barefoot wine, game ticket of your choice to either Friday or Saturday's game.
* Ladies V.I.P Package includes: Light Hors D'oeuvres, and bottle of bubbly from Barefoot wine, plus a tickets to one of the suites for the Friday March 2 game, catered suite, and a private wine tasting courtesy of Barefoot Wine.

Special Ticket Offer The Blades and the Radiology Regional Center are offering fans the opportunity to help join the fight against cancer, buy purchasing a normal $17 ticket for just either Friday or Saturday's game, for just $14, with $1 being donated to selected cancer charities To order visit the Everblades website at www.floridaeverblades.com and download the order form. Offer expires at noon on Thursday, and is not available at the Capital Bank Box office.
Friday's game begins at 7:30 p.m. while Saturdays game begins at 7:00 p.m. Prior to Saturday's game is the McDonald's tailgate party which includes live music from Common Ground and bounce houses for the kids.
In addition, the state of the art Mobile Mammogram truck will be out in the parking lot to provide screenings. Those interested must register a head of time by calling 239-936-2316. The screenings are covered by insurance.
