
Colorado's Ulanski Named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Kevin Ulanski of the Colorado Eagles is the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for Feb. 20-26.
The 29-year-old forward scored four goals and added seven assists for 11 points in three games last week as the Eagles went 2-0-1 in a three-game series against Ontario.
Ulanski opened the week with four points (2g-2a), and was +3, in a 6-4 win on Wednesday and followed that up with a second consecutive four-point effort (1g-3a) in a 9-8 shootout loss on Friday. He ended the week with one goal and two assists in a 5-4 overtime win on Saturday.
A native of Madison, Wisc., Ulanski has 53 points (20g-33a) in 39 games with the Eagles this season, which is tied for 12th in the league.
Ulanski has 104 points (36g-68a) in 142 career ECHL games with Long Beach, Phoenix, Elmira and Colorado, and he has added eight points (3g-5a) in 53 career American Hockey League games with Milwaukee and Albany.
On behalf of Kevin Ulanski, a case of pucks will be donated to a Colorado youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 25,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
