Everblades Agree to Terms with Defenseman Kyle Pereira

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Saturday that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Kyle Pereira.

Pereira, 26, joins the Everblades having recently collected 23 points (8g, 15a) in 28 games during his senior campaign at St. Mary's University (AUS). The 6-1,198-pound blueliner totaled 64 points (22g, 42a) during his four-year collegiate career with the Huskies (2012-2016).

The Brampton, Ontario native registered 73 points (16g, 57a) in 231 games played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) split between the Brampton Battalion (2008-2010) and the Guelph Storm (2010-2012).

Pereira is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Everblades battle the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum beginning at 7:00 p.m.
