Evan Rankin Will Return to Walleye

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced that forward Adam Hobson has been reassigned by the Chicago Blackhawks to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. Coach Vitucci also announced today that forward Evan Rankin has been released from his PTO with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) and will return to the Walleye.

Rankin returns to the Walleye after participating in 4 games with Moose (1g, 0a). Evan is still the current leading goal scorer with the Walleye with 20 scored in 41 contests. Evan also has 14 helpers this season with Toledo.

Hobson returns to the IceHogs where he has participated in 8 contests this year (2g, 1a). Adam with Toledo has collected 44 points (18g, 26a) in 38 contests.
