----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a series win as they take on the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) in the rubber game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, Trenton jumped out to a 7-0 lead and held off a late Erie comeback attempt in a 7-4 game. The loss dropped the SeaWolves back to a game under .500 and to just 3-8 against the Thunder. Erie is 1-4 against the Thunder at Jerry Uht Park...Today, lefty Jared Wesson takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 11th start and his second against Trenton. He beat the Thunder on April 26 at Waterfront Park. Wesson took a no-decision in his last outing and it was cut short due to a suspended game. He allowed two runs on three hits with a walk and a strikeout in one-plus innings of work. Erie won the game 3-2...Righty Mikey O'Brien takes the mound for Trenton making his fifth start and first against the SeaWolves. O'Brien took a no-decision in his last outing against New Hampshire on June 2. In the game, he allowed five runs on 10 hits with no walks and five strikeouts in six innings of work. O'Brien began the season with Class-A Tampa where he made seven appearances (six starts) and posted a 4-1 record and 2.92 ERA..The SeaWolves remain at home following tonight's game as they host a three-game weekend series against New Britain (Minnesota Twins).
