Tonight, the SeaWolves open a four-game series against the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) at UPMC Park. The SeaWolves are coming off of a road trip where the team went 4-3 and held leads, including two ninth inning leads, in all seven games. Erie finished the trip with a 10-3 win over the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on

Wednesday. The win snapped a six-game losing streak to the Ponies...Erie has struggled this season at UPMC Park, going 4-11 in 15 home games. The 'Wolves are still in search of their first series win at home...Righty Sandy Baez takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his eighth start and second against the Fightin Phils. Baez took a no-decision in his first start against Reading, tossing 4.2 shutout frames with a season-high 10 strikeouts. Baez took a no-decision in his last start against Akron on May 12. In the game, he allowed two runs on nine hits with two walks and three strikeouts in a season-high 6.1 innings of work. Baez left the game with a lead but the bullpen could not hold it and the 'Wolves fell 4-3...Righty Harold Arauz takes the mound for Reading making his eighth start and second against the SeaWolves. Arauz tossed five scoreless frames against Erie on April 6. He took a loss in his last start against Altoona allowing a season-high six runs on five hits in 4.1 innings of work.
