BINGO BATS BASH 21 HITS IN OPENER: The Rumble Ponies beat up on the Fisher Cats for an 11-1 series-opening win Thursday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Kevin Taylor and Jeff McNeil combined for three home runs to highlight the attack. Nabil Crismatt won for his team-leading fifth time this season.

BINGHAMTON STARTERS: RHP Marcos Molina makes his eighth start of the season and sixth with Binghamton. On May 13, Molina earned his first win, tossing six innings of one-run baseball at Portland. In his only start against New Hampshire this season, Molina pitched four innings and allowed two runs in a no-decision. RHP Scott Copeland is scheduled to start the night cap, his first with Binghamton since a brief stint with Las Vegas (AAA).

HIT PARADE: Binghamton set a season-high with 21 hits in Thursday's win. All nine Rumble Ponies starters had at least one hit, while seven of the nine recorded multi-hit games. Five Binghamton bats picked up an RBI, including Jeff McNeil's four, the most by a Pony this season. It's Binghamton's most hits in a game since September 2, 2015.

RETURN OF THE MAC: Jeff McNeil extended his hitting streak to 16 games behind a 4-for-6 performance on Thursday. McNeil is the only Rumble Pony to collect four hits in a game and has done so twice in five days. He's hitting .406 with 6 HR and 19 RBI during his league-best streak.

KEVIN CRANKS TWO: Kevin Taylor became the third Rumble Pony with a multi-home run game, launching a pair in Thursday's win. Taylor's first two-home run game of his career was Binghamton's second in the last three days (Peter Alonso, May 15). The longballs were Taylor's first in nearly a year (5/16/17 @ Altoona).

STILL SURGING: Binghamton has homered in six straight games and now leads the Eastern League with 44 home runs. The Rumble Ponies have hit 14 HR during the six-game stretch and three in each of the last three games.

PICKING UP THE PACE: Binghamton's 44th home run as a team last year did not come until July 15, their 89th game of the season.

HOT CROSS BATS: Jeff McNeil (16 games), Kevin Taylor (12 games), and John Mora (6 games) all currently ride their longest hitting streaks of the 2018 season.

FIRE-BREATHING PONIES: Rumble Ponies pitching has whiffed at least 10 batters in four straight games. It's the first time Binghamton has accomplished his feat since April 30 - May 4, 2017 Binghamton arms have collected 48 strikeouts over the four-game span and are 3-1.

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies and Fisher Cats continue their five-game, four-day series on Saturday at 6:35 PM.
