Flying Squirrels & Harrisburg Senators Postponed Friday

Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
Funnville - Friday's contest between the Richmond Flying Squirrels and Harrisburg Senators has been postponed due to inclement weather and field conditions. The game will be made up a part of a doubleheader tomorrow, Saturday, May 19th at The Diamond. First pitch of game one of the doubleheader will be at 5:05 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Both contests will be seven inning affairs. A limited quantity of Thursday's Michael Robinson Bobblehead Giveaway presented by The Good Feet Store (15 & older), will be distributed Saturday starting at 4:30 p.m. Tickets from Friday's game can be exchanged at the Flying Squirrels Box Office for another regular season home contest in 2018 (subject to availability).
Richmond will begin the now abbreviated three-game series on Saturday at 5:05 p.m. A full rundown of this weekend's events in Funnville can be found below.
Saturday, May 19 - ASK Foundation Night, Super Blast Fireworks & Rescheduled Limited Michael Robison Bobblehead

It's ASK Foundation Night presented by Anthem here at The Diamond. The players will wear special Superman-themed jerseys which we will auction off. Proceeds benefit The ASK Foundation. Enjoy In-Your-Face Fireworks after game two! Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 20 - Sunday Funnday, First Responders Day & Guns vs. Hoses
The Flying Squirrels honor all first responders on this Sunday afternoon. Kids Club members get in for free and fans can play catch on the field from 12:15-12:35 p.m. presented by Nesquik. Kids Run the Bases after the game presented by Richmond Magazine. Stick around after the game for the annual Guns & Hoses charity softball game. Gates open at 12 p.m.
RHP Jordan Johnson (4-3, 2.43) will have his scheduled adjusted to open the series against Harrisburg LHP Logan Darnell for game one of the doubleheader. LHP Garrett Williams (1-2, 5.27 ERA) will start game two against Harrisburg's RHP Brady Dragmire.
