Tonight, the SeaWolves begin a brief, three-game homstand and series with the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) at Jerry Uht Park. The 'Wolves have won back-to-back games heading into the current series. Yesterday, Erie completed a series win over Binghamton. The 'Wolves outscored the B-Mets 20-5 over the final two games of the series...Erie has climbed out of the cellar in the Western Division is in third place, 5.5 games behind first place Harrisburg...The Senators had a 10-game winning streak snapped on Thursday by New Hampshire 10-5 and they lead the West by three games over second place Altoona. The Senators are seventh in the EL with a 4.00 team ERA and .258 team batting average...Today, righty Jacob Turner makes his 10th start of the season and first against Harrisburg. Turner has taken no-decisions in his last three starts and has worked at least seven in all three of those starts. He has struck out eight in back-to-back starts. In his last start, Turner worked seven innings allowing three runs on seven hits with two walks and eight strikeouts. He left the game with a 5-3 lead but the bullpen could not hold on. Erie eventually won the game in 10 innings 6-5...RHP Erik Davis takes the mound for the Senators making his 10th appearance and ninth start. Davis earned a win in his last start against Bowie on May 29. In the game, he allowed a run on five hits with three walks and two strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Opponents are hitting .262 against Davis this season.

- Erie won the 2010 season series over Harrisburg 4-3. The SeaWolves and Senators meet 13 times in 2011,- Defensively, the SeaWolves have committed 50 errors which is fourth most in the EL. - The SeaWolves are 18-18 in night games and 7-9 in day games.- Erie's pitching staff is ninth in the league with a 4.20 team ERA. Henry is second in EL with a .426 on-base percentage. - Jamie Johnson leads the team and is fourth in the league with 28 walks.- Harrisburg has won 10 of its last 11 games.- The 'Wolves are looking for their third, three-game winning streak of the season.
