
Cow Patty Contest, Motorcycle Ride Headline Homestand Festivities

Manchester, N.H.- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are pleased to present a jam-packed promotional line-up for the upcoming six-game homestand beginning Tuesday, June 7 through Sunday, June 12 against the Bowie Baysox and the Richmond Flying Squirrels at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
June's first of two six-game homestands comes on the heels of a historic May which saw the Fisher Cats set a franchise record with 23 wins in a single month. Over the Memorial Day Weekend, Fisher Cats fans rewrote the record books, filling Northeast Delta Dental Stadium with 8,107 patrons on Sunday, May 29, the most fans to ever attend a Sunday game in team history.
"We are thrilled to offer our fans a variety of ways to enjoy the Fisher Cats entertainment experience, truly making Northeast Delta Dental Stadium the place where fun rules," said Matt Person, Fisher Cats Vice President of Business Operations. "From premium giveaways and fireworks to community outreach programs, our wonderful partners have helped us create engaging events each and every night."
Tuesday night's game (Bowie Baysox, 7:05 p.m.) will recognize local students for their academic and athletic achievements with a Fisher Cats/CCSNH Reading Challenge Night and Indian Head Athletics Scholar Athlete Night. Fans will also have the opportunity to capitalize on the KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets promotion, and will receive a special buy one ticket, get one free offer when presenting a KRAFT Singles package wrapper at the Fisher Cats ticket office window prior to the game.
The first ever Cow Patty Contest will be held at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium on Wednesday for "Dairy Night" (Bowie Baysox, 7:05 p.m.). "Dairy Night" festivities will feature several dairy themed contests and prizes and a special ceremonial first pitch delivered by Russ Atherton, a dairy farmer from Lee, NH. The Cow Patty Contest features Scarlette, an award winning cow from Morrill Farm in Penacook, NH. Proceeds collected from the Cow Patty Contest will benefit dairy farmers across the Granite State. Local students will be honored on the field for U.S. Cellular Most Improved Student Night and fans can play USA Subs Baseball Bingo throughout the game. Use the special offer code 'NHDAIRY' when purchasing tickets for Wednesday's game online to donate a portion of the proceeds to New Hampshire's dairy industry.
Thursday night's series finale (Bowie Baysox, 7:05 p.m.) features a spectacular Atlas Fireworks show following the game and will reward the first 1,500 fans to enter the ballpark with a free Fisher Cats Hat, courtesy of Catholic Medical Center. Thursday is Law Enforcement Night when New Hampshire's finest will be honored in several capacities throughout the game, including the presentation of the Officer Michael Briggs Community Hero Award during the pregame ceremonies. The Fisher Cats will wear special police uniform styled jerseys which will be auctioned off during the game with the proceeds benefiting the Manchester Police Athletic League. The Manchester Police Department will display the squad's S.W.A.T. truck and ATVs outside of the stadium.
Friday night brings the Double-A affiliate of the World Series Champion San Francisco Giants to Manchester (Richmond Flying Squirrels, 7:05 p.m.) and another postgame Atlas Fireworks show for fans to enjoy. It's AutoFair Make the Grade Night and Scout Sleepover Night when hundreds of local Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will earn a badge by staying the night on the award winning field at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
The third postgame Atlas Fireworks show of the homestand will be displayed on Saturday night (Richmond Flying Squirrels, 7:05 p.m.) when the first 1,000 kids, 12 and under, through the gates will receive a free Fisher Cats Kids Jersey, courtesy of U.S. Cellular. Fans can win great prizes playing USA Subs Baseball Bingo all night long.
The homestand will conclude on Sunday afternoon (Richmond Flying Squirrels, 1:35 p.m.) with a Northeast Delta Dental Oral Health Challenge Day. The first 1,000 kids, 12 and under, to enter the park will receive a free Webkinz, courtesy of Northeast Delta Dental. Fans can ride their motorcycles on the field in support of pediatric brain cancer research. Visit www.emmasenchantment.org for more information.
