----- Today, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins and to get back over the .500 mark as they take on the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) in the third game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the 'Wolves snapped a two-game slide, taking down the Mets 5-3. With last night's win, the SeaWolves are alone in third place in the Western Division, a half game behind second place Harrisburg...Today, lefty Jared Wesson takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 14th start and first against the Mets. Wesson is 0-2 with three no-decisions in his last five starts. He has not made it through five innings in each of his last two starts. Wesson took a loss in his last start against Bowie on June 19. In the game, he allowed seven runs on eight hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 4.1 innings. Erie lost the game 8-1...The Mets will send righty Armando Rodriguez to the mound making a spot start for Mark Cohoon who was transferred to Triple-A Buffalo. It will be the 17th appearance for Rodriguez and his first start. Rodriguez last appeared against Altoona on June 15 tossing two scoreless innings, earning a save. Rodriguez has not allowed a run in his last two outings...The SeaWolves will have one more game this homestand on Monday night against the Mets before heading on the road to Akron and Harrisburg.
