ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...
The SeaWolves will look for their fourth consecutive win as they take the field in the second game of a four-game set at First Energy Stadium against the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia Phillies). A win would mark Erie's fourth, four-game winning streak. The SeaWolves have won six of their last seven games and are in a fourth place tie with Altoona in the Southern Division, 16.5 games behind first place Akron. The âWolves are 15-8 following the all-star break. Erie is also the hottest team in the EL winning eight of the last 10 games. The âWolves are currently in a string of 25-straight games without an off-day. Erie's next scheduled off day is August 11...Reading enter's tonight's game in last place in the South, 21.5 games out of first. The R-Phils are the first EL team to 70 losses. Erie improved to 8-2 on the season and to 2-2 at First Energy Stadium following last night's 15-3 win...Righty Guillermo Moscoso takes the mound for Erie, making his second start and his second against Reading. He allowed an unearned run on three hits in his Double-A debut against the R-Phils on August 3. He walked one and tied a career-high with 10 strikeouts in a 4-3 âWolves victory...Righty Edgar Garcia takes the mound for the Phillies, making his seventh start and his third against the SeaWolves. Garcia began the season with Class-A Clearwater and made 14 appearances and 13 starts with a record of 8-2 and a 3.97 ERA. He took a loss in his last outing against Erie on August 2 going 6.1 innings, allowing four runs on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts. In two starts against the âWolves, Garcia is 0-1 with a no-decision and a 9.00 ERA.
