ENTERING TODAY'S ACTION...

Today, the SeaWolves look to salvage the final game of a five-game series against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) at Prince George's Stadium. The Baysox took down Erie 4-0 in a rain-shortened game on Saturday night. In the game, Bowie starter Jake Arrieta held Erie to a season-low one hit. It was also the second time Erie has been shut out in a game. Both times the 'Wolves have been shutout have been in rain-shortened contests. Bowie has taken three of four in the current series and nine of 14 overall from Erie. The 'Wolves come into today's game in second place in the Southern Division, four games behind first place Akron. The 'Wolves will finally meet the Aeros this Friday at Canal Park in a showdown of the top two teams in the South...Erie must win the final five games of the season series to avoid a losing record against the Baysox...Righty Alfredo Figaro takes the mound for the Howlers, making his sixth start and first against Bowie. Figaro has taken back-to-back no decisions. In his last start against Reading, Figaro went 6.2 innings, allowing two runs on three hits with a walk and six strikeouts. He missed his only scheduled start against the Baysox (April 29) due to lower back stiffness...Lefty Bobby Livingston takes the mound for the Baysox. He makes his eighth appearance, seventh start and second start against Erie. Livingston beat the 'Wolves on April 13 going five innings, allowing a run on six hits with no walks and a strikeout. He has won his last two starts. In his last start against Akron, Livingston went 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on six hits with three walks and three strikeouts.
