Tonight, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins for the second time this season as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the opening game of a three-game series at People's Natural Gas Field. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves jumped ahead 5-0 in the third inning and held off a late charge by the Rumble Ponies, salvaging the final game of the series 7-3. The 'Wolves banged out a season-high 15 hits in the win...Righty Beau Burrows takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his third start and first against Altoona. Burrows took a loss in his last start against Trenton in game one of a doubleheader on April 18. In the game, he allowed two runs on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work. Erie lost the game 2-1...Righty J.T. Brubaker takes the mound for the Curve making his fourth start and first against the SeaWolves. Brubaker took a no-decision in his last start at Akron on April 18. In the game, he allowed a run on four hits with a walk while equaling his season-high with eight strikeouts. Brubaker made six appearances, five starts, against the SeaWolves in 2017 going 1-2 with a 5.81 ERA.
