Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a two-game slide as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the opening game of a four-game series at People's Natural Gas Field. Yesterday, the 'Wolves dropped the series finale to Akron 8-6. Erie built a 5-1 lead in the game but could not hold on as the Ducks outscored Erie 7-1 the
remainder of the game... Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 17th start of the season, 10th with the SeaWolves and third against the Curve. Collier is 2-0 in his previous two starts against Altoona. Collier took his third straight no-decision in his last start at Harrisburg on July 13. In the game, he allowed a run on three hits with two walks and six strikeouts in five innings of work. Erie lost the game 2-1... RHP Jason Creasy takes the mound for Altoona making his 18th appearance of the season, 17th start and fourth start against the SeaWolves. Creasy is 2-0 with a no-decision in his previous two starts against Erie. He earned a save in his last appearance against Bowie on July 10. In the game, he allowed five runs on six hits with no walks and three strikeouts in three innings.
