Eric Godard Returns To Islanders

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the recall of Right Wing Eric Godard by the big club. The Islanders assigned Godard to the Sound Tigers on conditioning loan two weeks ago, and he appeared in seven AHL games recording 13 penalty minutes. Godard also has one assist and 72 penalty minutes in 26 NHL games with the Islanders this season.

The Sound Tigers will visit the Hartford Wolf Pack tonight at 7:05 p.m. and the Albany River Rats this Friday at 7 p.m. They will return home to host the Providence Bruins at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. All of this week's games will be web cast live at www.soundtigers.com. Friday ‚¬â„¢s game will also be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM.

Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
