WORCESTER, MA – St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President/General Manager and Worcester IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau announced today that the Blues have reassigned center Greg Black from the organization’s ECHL affiliate in Peoria, Illinois to the IceCats. The ‘Cats also returned on loan forward Mike Hoffman to the Peoria Rivermen.

Signed by the Blues as a free agent on March 20th, Black has appeared in 15 games with the Peoria Rivermen, registering five goals, two assists and 69 penalty minutes: 15(5/2/7)69. Prior to his stint in Peoria, he played in 16 games with the IceCats, garnering one goal, one assist and 66 penalty minutes: 16(1/1/2)66.

A native of Weymouth, Massachusetts, Hoffman has donned the IceCats blue & teal for 15 games, recording no points and 20 penalty minutes: 15(0/0/0)20. The 6-5 forward has appeared in eight games for the Peoria Rivermen, registering two assists and nine penalty minutes: 8(0/2/2)9.
