February 25, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Andrew Hutchinson from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Hutchinson, 23 (3/24/80), has posted two goals, two assists (2g-2a-4pts) and a +6 rating in 12 games with Nashville this season. The 6-2, 204-pound Evanston, Ill. native, who played in the 2004 AHL All-Star Classic, has 19 points (10g-9a) and a +9 rating in 33 games with the Admirals. The former Michigan State Spartan was Nashville's fourth choice, 54th overall (second round), in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

Hutchinson is the third Admirals defenseman to be removed from the roster today. Earlier this morning Nashville recalled blueliner Stan Neckar, who had played three games for the Ads on a conditioning assignment, and also traded Timo Helbling to the Tampa Bay Lightning for an eighth-round draft pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

The Admirals will take the ice again tonight against the San Antonio Rampage. Game time is set for 7 pm.
