
Edwardson Continues To Receive Honors

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. â The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, are pleased to announce that center Derek Edwardson has been selected as the CCM Vector ECHL Rookie of the Month for November. The announcement was made yesterday from the ECHL office in Princeton.
Edwardson, 23, tied for the ECHL lead in scoring for the month with eight goals and 18 points. The Morton Grove, IL native finished November by notching five goals and seven points in three games, including his first professional hat-trick and four-point game, to claim In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week honors. Edwardson is tied for fourth in the ECHL in scoring with nine goals and 20 points and is tied for the league lead in plus-minus ratio at plus-12. He is currently riding a three-game goal streak since November 24 against Long Beach and a four-game point streak since November 20 against South Carolina.
The Bullies open a two-game road trip at 7:30PM tonight at Toledo. Catch all the action live beginning with "Bullies Countdown" at 7:10PM on ESPN Radio 1450AM. Atlantic City returns to Historic Boardwalk Hall at 7:05PM on Wednesday, December 8 when they host the Wheeling Nailers. Every Wednesday home game is a "Wild Wednesday."
