
Legault And Drake Activated; Guzior Placed On Injured Reserve

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves general manager and head coach Bob Woods announced today that right wing Jay Legault (leh-GOH) and left wing Lucas (LEW-kahs) Drake have been activated off the injured reserve, while center Russ Guzior (GOO-zee-uhr) has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve.
Legault, 25, comes off the 30-day injured reserve after missing 10 games. The 6-foot-4 and 220-pound Legault has appeared in six games with Mississippi this season, picking up two assists and four penalty minutes. A native of Peterborough, Ontario, Legault is in his fifth season of professional hockey and first year with the Sea Wolves.
Drake, 24, missed six games after going on the 7-day injured reserve on November 16. A native of Holt, Michigan, Drake is without a point in 10 games with Mississippi this season. The 5-foot-10 and 185-pound Drake is in his first full season of professional hockey after appearing in nine regular season games with the Sea Wolves in 2003-04 and five postseason contests, where he registered four assists.
Guzior, 30, has appeared in eight games with the Sea Wolves this season, posting one assist and nine penalty minutes. The 5-foot-10 and 190-pound Guzior was signed by Mississippi as a free agent on November 9. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Guzior is a veteran in his eighth season of professional hockey.
Mississippi hits the ice at 7:05 p.m. tonight against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Pensacola Civic Center. The Sea Wolves return home for a 7:35 p.m. game tomorrow versus the Texas Wildcatters at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
