Elmira Jackals (23-7-3) at Dayton Bombers (14-8-7) 7:00 ET
- Elmira is 2-0-0 against the Bombers including 3-2 shootout win at Dayton on Nov. 27.
- Dayton ranks fourth in the ECHL on the power play at home with 24.1 percent (21-for-87).
- Jackals' Joel Martin is 1-0-0 with a shutout against Dayton.
- Chris Eade and Ryan Smyth each have a goal for the Bombers against Elmira.



South Carolina Stingrays (19-9-1) at Florida Everblades (17-11-3) 7:30 ET
- Florida is 1-0-0 this season against South Carolina and 39-21-9 all-time against the Stingrays.
- South Carolina is on a team record and ECHL season-high 12-game winning streak.
- Everblades' Derek Damon has six points (1g-5a) in his last five games.
- Chris Chaput leads the Stingrays against Florida with two assists and two points.



Reading Royals (17-11-3) at Cincinnati Cyclones (24-6-2) 7:30 ET
- Cincinnati is 2-0-0 this season against Reading and 11-9-2 all-time against the Royals.
- Reading is 12-7-2 when they out shoot their opponents.
- David Deshamais and Travis Fuller each have a goal and two assists for the Cyclones against Reading.
- Royals' Charlie Kronschnabel registered his first pro multi-point game with two goals on Wednesday.



Columbia Inferno (12-14-8) at Augusta Lynx (17-12-3) 7:35 ET
- Augusta won 3-2 in a shootout on Dec. 29 to improve to 3-3-1 this season against Columbia.
- Columbia's Jeff Miles is tied for 10th in the ECHL with 35 points (14g-21a).
- Matt Auffrey (2g-3a) and Eric Lundberg (5a) each have five points for the Lynx against Columbia.
- Brad Ralph leads the Inferno against Augusta with six goals and 10 points.



Johnstown Chiefs (11-18-1) at Wheeling Nailers (9-20-3) 7:35 ET
- First game for Greg Puhalski, who was named Wheeling head coach on Wednesday.
- Johnstown is 4-2-0 this season against Wheeling and 67-62-15 all-time against the Nailers.
- Wheeling is 6-1-1 when leading after the second period.
- Jean Desrochers leads the Chiefs against Wheeling with eight assists and 13 points.



Gwinnett Gladiators (20-7-3) at Pensacola Ice Pilots (7-21-3) 7:05 CT
- Pensacola won 6-5 at Gwinnett on Dec. 22 to improve to 1-2-0 this season against the Gladiators.
- Gwinnett is tied for seventh in the ECHL with 18 points (8-3-2) on the road.

- Mississippi is 7-1-0 when leading after the second period.
- Trenton is 3-1-1 in their last five games and 6-3-1 in their last 10 games.
- Sea Wolves' Jason Tejchma has 10 points (5g-5a) in his last six games.
- Rookie defenseman Ryan Gunderson leads the Devils with 20 assists and 23 points.

- Celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08, the ECHL is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.

- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be a coast-to-coast league with 25 teams playing 900 games in 17 states and British Columbia in 2007-08.

- The league officially changed its name to ECHL on May 19, 2003.

- Affiliations with 26 of the 30 teams in the National Hockey League, marking the 11th consecutive season that the league has had affiliations with at least 20 teams in the NHL.

- 340 former ECHL players have played in NHL.

Dave McKee played for Augusta and dressed for five games as the backup goaltender for Stanley Cup champion Anaheim.

- Record 51 former ECHL players played their first NHL game in 2005-06.

- ECHL has been represented on last seven Stanley Cup champions.

- There are 15 coaches in the NHL who have ECHL experience including former Wheeling coach Peter Laviolette, who is head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, and former Mississippi coach Bruce Boudreau, who is head coach of the Washington Capitals.

- ECHL has been represented on last 18 Calder Cup champions.

- ECHL has affiliations with 26 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 18 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.

- The Stockton Thunder and the City of Stockton will host the Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light at Stockton Arena on Jan. 23, 2008 and the Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Skills Competition presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light on Jan. 22, 2008.

- In the last five seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
ECHL and its member teams contributed nearly $3 million for charity and relief funds in 2006-07.
