October 20, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - The ECHL announced today that league Commissioner Brian McKenna will be present Friday night at the E-Center when the Grizzlies host Phoenix in the first-ever ECHL game for each team.
"I am very much looking forward to watching the Grizzlies first-ever game in the ECHL as they rekindle a long-time rivalry with the Phoenix RoadRunners," said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna. "Utah has a solid base of loyal fans, a great hockey tradition and a world-class arena. They are a welcome addition to the ECHL."
"On a very busy opening night in the ECHL, it will be a tremendous honor to have Commissioner McKenna with us here at the E-Center. Our players and fans will give him some fine memories of his first visit to Utah," said Grizzlies President Kevin Bruder.
To set up an interview with the Commissioner while he is in Utah, contact Adrian Denny in the Grizzlies media relations office at (801) 988-8017.
