Everblades make roster adjustment

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president & general manager Craig Brush, along with head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Brandon Coalter and defenseman Ryan Brindley have both been placed on the 7-Day injured reserve list. As per club policy the injuries were not disclosed.

Coalter, 27, is entering his third professional season in '05-'06. Last year the Newmarket, Ontario native skated in 48 regular season games with the Everblades notching 10 points (5g, 5a) and amassing 94 penalty minutes. In his two years with the Everblades, the former 5th round draft pick by the San Jose Sharks in 1998, has played in 106 total games, scoring eight goals and notching 17 assists, while racking up 276 penalty minutes.

Brindley, 29, collected 29 points (8g, 21a) in 54 regular season games with the Everblades in 2004-05. Of his 29 points, 11 of them came on the power play, scoring three goals and adding eight assists with the Everblades on the man-advantage. In 18 playoff games last season, the Thunder Bay, Ontario native tallied eight points (3g, 5a) while helping the Everblades advance to the Kelly Cup Finals for the second straight year.

The Everblades open the 2005-06 season on Friday, October 28 vs. the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena! Everblades 2005-06 full season, half season, group tickets, and individual game tickets are on sale now!
