
Eagles Waive Forward Jankus, Filipic Placed on IR

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Central Hockey League's Northern Conference champion Colorado Eagles announced today that they've waived developmental forward Jon Jankus, bringing the number of players on their roster to 18. It was also announced today that forward Fraser Filipic will begin the season on the 30-day injured reserve list.
The Eagles open the 2008-09 regular season with two games against the Rapid City Rush on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18. Tickets for all home dates at the Budweiser Events Center can be purchased through the Budweiser Events Center box office, www.ComcastTix.com, 1-877-544-TIXX (8499), the Eagles' Office in Water Valley or through any ComcastTIX Outlet. All home games start at 7:05 p.m. (MST).
