The Bulls play the finale of a three-game set against the Gwinnett Braves in the third and final series of a season-long 11-game road trip. Durham is 2-8 over the first 10 games of the road swing, and just 4-10 since the All-Star Break. The Bulls have dropped 26 of their last 38 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 9.0-game deficit, tied for their largest division deficit of the season. Gwinnett - the Atlanta Braves' top affiliate - is 8-5 since the All-Star break, but has won five in a row and is 7-2 over its last nine contests.
