Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The 2015 IronRail Series continues as the IronPigs (47-57) play the opener of a two-game series -- and Game 3 of a four-game, home-and-home series -- against the first-place Scranton-WB RailRiders (57-48) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 5-3 loss last night, the Pigs snapped their four-game winning streak over the RailRiders and fell to 6-5 in the season series. Still, the surging Pigs have won 18 of their last 27 affairs and sport the IL's best record (25-15) since June 14 after falling to their low-water mark (22-42) of the season... The RailRiders -- the Yankees' top affiliate -- have won six of their last seven contests, but remain just 14-17 since June 25 (a span that started with an 8-16 skid).
RHP Sean O'Sullivan (0-0, 3.46) will start for LHV against RHP Luis Severino (6-0, 2.11).
Tonight is IronPigs Sunglasses Giveaway Night, presented by Coordinated Health... First Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
