RHP Zach Lee (3-2, 3.71) vs. RHP Michael Kopech (4-7, 4.15)
After taking game two 3-2 on Saturday night in the Queen City, the Bulls send Zach Lee to the mound for the finale of a three-game series against the Charlotte Knights at 5:05 p.m. Lee is making his eighth start with the Bulls, and his third start against the Knights. Over 13.2 innings pitched against Charlotte he has allowed six earned runs with six strikeouts. Charlotte counters with righty Michael Kopech, who has a 0-2 record with a 6.38 ERA (18.1 IP, 13 ER) over four starts against the Durham Bulls this season. Kopech has allowed three home runs, five doubles and a .236 batting average against in his outings opposing the South Division foe.
The Bulls hold a 5.0-game lead over the Norfolk Tides (58-52) for first place in the South Division.
