
Dragons Playoff Ticket Sales to Begin Thursday

Dayton, Ohio-Dayton Dragons ticket sales for the 2009 Midwest League Playoffs will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27th at the Dragons Box Office located next to the main entry gates at Fifth Third Field.
Stadium seats for all Dragons playoff games will be available for $9.00. Lawn seats will be available for $7.00.
If the Dragons qualify for the playoffs, they will host game one of the first round series at Fifth Third Field on Wednesday, September 9th. Game time is 7:00 p.m. The opponent is still to be determined. Dates and opponents for the second and third rounds of the playoffs are also still to be determined.
The Dragons are currently tied with the South Bend Silver Hawks in the race for the Eastern Division playoff wildcard slot with 13 games to play. The Dragons must finish ahead of South Bend and remain ahead of the Lansing Lugnuts to qualify for the playoffs. They currently have a four-game lead on Lansing.
If the Dragons do not qualify for the playoffs, fans can receive a full refund for the cost of their tickets including any service or mailing charges. Any playoff tickets sold for games that are not played will be fully refunded.
The Dragons Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office will open at 12:00 noon on weekend days that the Dragons are home including this weekend, Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th.
In addition to the Dragons Box Office, tickets can also be purchased on the Dragons website, daytondragons.com, by phone at (937) 228-2287, via any Ticketmaster outlet inside Miami Valley Kroger stores, or Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000.
A few reminders for fans wishing to purchase tickets:
- Cash and credit cards only (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover); personal or company checks will not be accepted.
- There are never any service charges when buying Dragons tickets at the Dragons box office.
