Lansing captured the lead in the bottom of the seventh putting four straight hits together for three runs. Chris Emanuele provided the key hit with a two-run double to push Lansing ahead.
The Whitecaps tied the game in the ninth, 3-3, on lead-off hitter Luis Salas' fourth homerun.
But the Lugnuts took advantage of a leadoff walk to A.J. Jimenez and base hits by Chris Emanuele and Ryan Goins, the last of which brought in Jimenez for the 4-3 win.
