Dragons Activate O'Shea

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:

Infielder Humberto Valor has been sent from Dayton to the Cincinnati Reds extended spring training camp in Goodyear, Arizona.

Catcher/infielder Nick O'Shea has been activated from the disabled list.

The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.

O'Shea has appeared in five games with the Dragons this season after spending the entire 2012 season in Dayton. The former All-Big Ten Conference selection at the University of Minnesota suffered a sprained knee on April 16 and was placed on the disabled list the next day.

Valor appeared in 12 games for the Dragons this season, batting .235 with one home run and three runs batted in.

The Dragons play in Clinton, Iowa tonight at 7:30 p.m. (EDT) against the Clinton Lumber Kings in the start to a six-game road trip. All Dragons games can be heard on WONE Radio 980 AM and on the internet at daytondragons.com and wone.com.
