PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a transaction that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to today's game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at 7:30 p.m. ET at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium.

Right-handed relief pitcher Sean Donatello has been placed on the disabled list with right biceps tendinitis. This season Donatello is 0-3 with a 3.95 ERA in 24 appearances and a Southern League-best 14 saves. Donatello converted his 14th save yesterday evening, despite allowing two runs in the ninth inning, as Jacksonville beat Pensacola 8-7.

Donatello also leads the Southern League in appearances (24) and games finished (23). In April he was named the Southern League's BC Powder Relief Pitcher of the Month after converting six saves during the season's first month.

The Suns roster now stands at 24 active players, and a revised roster is attached.

The Suns and Blue Wahoos will square off again on Monday night from Pensacola Bayfront Stadium with a first pitch slated for 7:35 p.m. ET. The Suns will send out righty Austin Brice (2-4, 7.09 ERA) while the Wahoos will counter with right-hander Timothy Adleman (2-5, 1.97 ERA).
