Barons Rained out in Tennessee

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Monday's game between the Barons and Smokies was postponed due to inclement weather.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a Tuesday doubleheader at Smokies Park. Both games will go seven innings, and the first game is set to begin at 4 p.m.

Tennessee has not yet announced their start for the first game of the doubleheader, while Birmingham is slated to give the nod with RHP Frankie Montas (0-1, 2.87). RHP Ryan Williams (1-0, 5.06) is set to toe the rubber for the Smokies in Tuesday's nightcap, while the Barons are anticipated to send RHP Tony Bucciferro (0-3, 6.99) to the hill.

The team returns to Regions Field Thursday, June 11 for five games against Chattanooga. The home stand includes a Thirsty Thursday, two chances to enjoy the Courtyard Pregame Buffet, mini bat giveaway, Los Barons Night and a pregame concert by Sho Baraka.
